Today, on Emergency Services Day, we recognise and thank all those working in Fire and Rescue Services and everyone who serves our communities across the emergency services.

999 day is also a reminder that people who spend their lives helping others may need support themselves.

We are recruiting for our next King’s Trust Team Programme in Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage/North Herts and Watford.

The programme supports 16-25 year olds who are not currently in education, employment or training, or who may lack confidence about their next steps. Participants develop new skills, gain qualifications, improve confidence and receive support into employment, education or volunteering.

Harrison is Kings Langleys latest firefighter and has already been out on numerous calls during what has been an exceptionally busy period. He will continue his learning and development with us all on station whilst also helping protect the local communities.

Kings Langleys fire crews extremely busy days are continuing, July and into August have seen our busiest times and the crews are continuing to provide cover to assist our community, all over Hertfordshire, and neighbouring counties.
