The Bridge For Heroes

The Bridge For Heroes Supporting the Armed Forces Community in King's Lynn, West Norfolk and the surrounding area.

All our services are free for veterans and their immediate families. Based in the centre of King's Lynn, Norfolk, The Bridge For Heroes operates a drop in Centre where those who served, or are serving, are welcome to call in for a hot drink, a meal, a chat with other people who have shared similar experiences or to access any of our support services. We aim to provide a bridge between military ser

vice and civilian life, helping people avoid feelings of Isolation, loneliness and depression by giving them opportunities to meet with other people who have shared similar experiences as well as more extensive support if it is required. For many of our beneficiaries a chat with some friendly banter over a brew is all they want from us, while others may benefit from the many other services that we can provide. We can offer a wide range of support, guidance and advice on issues such as accessing Service Records, Housing, Readjustment, Respite, Medal Applications, Finance and more. There are no waiting lists for any beneficiary, direct and immediate support is part of our ethos. If you or anyone that you know might benefit from our services we would love to hear from you.

The impact of your generosity reaches beyond veterans.

Many of the people who come through our doors are family members looking for advice, guidance, or support during challenging times.

Regular donations help us continue offering assistance to the wider Armed Forces community, ensuring that families feel supported and connected.

Thank you for helping us make a difference to the lives of those who have served and the people who stand beside them. โค๏ธ

One of the greatest benefits of regular giving is stability.

Knowing that ongoing support is in place allows us to plan ahead, develop services, and continue supporting veterans and their families throughout the year.

Your standing order may seem like a small contribution each month, but together they make a lasting impact.

Thank you for standing with us and the Armed Forces community.

For many veterans and family members, finding a place where they feel understood can make all the difference.

Your support helps us provide a welcoming environment where people can connect, share experiences, and access practical support without judgment.

Every regular gift helps keep that door open.

Thank you for helping us build a community where nobody has to face challenges alone.
