Residence of Tilney St Lawrence Parish are warmly invited to the unveiling of a memorial plaque on Thursday 2nd April at 11:30am in memory of Doug Jones, recognising his valued contribution to village life serving as a Parish Councillor for over twenty five years.

The plaque will be installed on the Tilney St Lawrence village sign and will serve as a lasting tribute to Doug’s dedication and service to the local community.

The unveiling will be a short, informal gathering giving villagers the opportunity to remember Doug and acknowledge the positive impact he had on the community.

All are welcome to attend.

Dr Punsfer's Gift Charity has replaced the broken old wooden bench, which was sited by the Parish Council village sign and noticeboard in Magdalen Road with a new environmentally friendly recycled plastic bench.
A big thank you goes to the local construction company Trundley, who donated the materials and labour to lay the concrete base and fix the bench in place.
