You’ve all heard the saying "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"🩵

This saying has been one of the most popular wedding traditions for decades and it can be a really nice way of leaning into tradition even if you are opting to have a non-traditional ceremony. There are lots of fun and creative ways to add this into your day, whether it's in your attire, your flowers, your shoes or something else. This tradition is usually made up of small tokens of love that your parents, sibling or other guests will give you.

Something Old symbolizes concept of continuity and connection to the past
Something New symbolizes hope for the future and the journey that lies ahead
Something Borrowed symbolizes a token of borrowed happiness and shared joy
Something Blue symbolizes purity, love, and fidelity

Are you team Veil or team No Veil? 🔍✨

While veils originally started in ancient times to hide the bride from bad luck and evil spirits and believe it or not they were bright orange!! They have since evolved into the ultimate fashion statement.💕

From Princess Diana’s historic 25-foot royal train to Audrey Hepburn’s, mid-century tulle look , some of the most memorable bridal fashion moments in history happen right at the altar.💐

If you are a past bride, did you wear a veil? If you are a future bride, are you planning to? Let us know! 👇
