Last Friday, CVOEA Community Development Lead Brenda Fraser visited Community Open Gardens Shortlees, where she met with Councillor Peter Mabon, Aimee Takizawa (C.O.G.S.) and some of the fantastic volunteers helping transform the space.
There has been major progress at the garden recently, including:
๐จ An eye-catching shed painted by a local artist
๐ A beautiful new labyrinth
๐ฑ Raised beds planted with donations from Tesco
๐ชจ New gravel, tarmac, and monoblocking improvements
And there was also a chance to meet C.O.G.S.โ brand new therapy dog! ๐ถ๐
This Saturday (30th May) C.O.G.S will be hosting a Volunteer Information Day (10:00am-3:00pm) plus a Plant and Seed Swap from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. ๐ผ๐ฟ
Come along to see the exciting new developments, find out about volunteering, enjoy the community atmosphere, and say hello to the new therapy dog!
