Outgoing Green County councillor Ian Middleton was supported by Green County Candidate Fiona Mawson at the opening of this vital crossing which had been campaigned for over many years by local groups, including the Parish Council. Ian pressed the County to provide the funding for the project and to get it completed before the end of his term.

This shows how effective it can be to have a Green councillor in your area. Let's hope Fiona wins on Thursday to take over the reigns from Ian to achieve even more in the next few years!

Since the 70s around twenty people have died or been injured crossing the A44 in Begbroke; all that time campaigners have called for a crossing.

With only 2 days left to go we're adding the last 2 leaflets in this campiagn for our two candidates in Kidlington.

One for Fiona Mawson who is standing in Kidlington West and the other for Ian Middleton who is standing in Kidlington East.

Ian is the current County Councillor representing most of these 2 areas as they are made up of his current division of Kidlington South where he has been the councillor for the past 4 years.

Please read and share these and consider voting for whichever is the candidate in your area. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us or one of the candidates and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

With only 2 days to go until election day here's the latest in our series of leaflets. We have 2 leaflets this time, one for our candidate in Kidlington West - Fiona Mawson and the other for our candidate in Kidlington East - Ian Middleton. Both these areas previously made up the bulk of what is now Kidlington South where Ian Middleton is the current County Councillor, so we're hoping to maintain or representation across both of the new divisions and keep some continuity in Green support across the area.

Please read and share these leaflets depending on which new division you live in now. We hope you will vote for whichever of our candidates is standing in your area. In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns feel free to get in touch.

Our second leaflet in this County Council election campaign featured both of our candidates in the new Kidlington division. The original Kidlington South Division that is currently represented by Green Councillor Ian Middleton has now been split into 2 - Kidlington east and Kidlington West.

As a result you now have 2 Green candidates to vote for in these elections. Ian Middleton is standing for re-election in Kidlington East Division and Fiona Mawson is standing in Kidlington West (which included Yarnton and Begbroke). Fiona is currently the longest standing parish councillor in Yarnton so it the perfect candidate to be the new County Councillor there.

Those who haven't seen the paper version of this leaflet that was delivered around a month ago can read more below.

LEAFLET CORRECTION

The North and West Oxfordshire Green Party would like to correct an error made in a recent leaflet we distributed in the Kidlington East division.

We would like to clarify that, contrary to what we suggested, the Liberal Democrat candidate Gabriel Schenk does in fact live in the Kidlington East division.

Our apologies for suggesting otherwise, and our apologies as well to Gabriel for any upset our honest mistake caused
