HEDGES: A REMINDER TO LANDOWNERS
Hedge cutting season is now with us, if you have hedges bordering the highway please remember that it is your responsibility to keep them trimmed back. This not only helps visibility for vehicles but also prevents debris entering ditches and drains which in turn will prevent floods and potholes over the wetter and colder seasons.

SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN

Shropshire Council have invited representatives of our Parish Council to a workshop to share views on Shropshire’s transport issues, opportunities and priorities for the years ahead. The workshop will explore how people travel, the challenges they face, and the improvements they would like to see across Shropshire’s transport network; this includes access to services, public transport, road conditions, network resilience, active travel and environmental issues. The Parish Council would welcome any input from parishioners on this matter before the meeting on 28th July so that we can share the views from our area. Feedback on the Local Transport Plan at this early stage will play a key role in ensuring Shropshire’s future transport strategy is informed by local knowledge, experience and evidence.
