Hello listeners!! Hope your weekend is starting well? So I’m planning ahead to Monday’s show… And as it’s world su***de prevention day in September 10th, my theme this week is connection and dialogue.. A very important and sensitive topic that it’s vital we raise awareness of! If you’re a charity and would like a mention please get in touch or you know of good work happening in and around the Lakes.. Cumbria has a higher than average su***de rate so we need to do whatever we can to support folk in this community. Two thoughts from me..

1. Sometimes it can feel very lonely and you might not want to bother someone with your problems.. But there are always people and organisations who care and can listen..

2. How you feel now, no matter how bleak things can appear, can change and get better.. Give it time and reach out.

Hope you can tune in.. Because whilst this is an important topic we will be playing the usual great mix of music and chat.. With tips and suggestions and most likely the odd moment she I prove it’s live radio by making a mistake!!
