A little bit of fun…and a lot of truth! If you haven’t visited Kelso yet…this is your time. Quaint cobbled streets, history at every turn, breathtaking riverside walks and the most gorgeous independent shops, cafes and restaurants just waiting to welcome you. Come on over!

KELSO FOLK FESTIVAL 2026
FRIDAY 4th to SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER

Tickets for the individual concerts or the whole weekend are available both at Brown's Newsagents in Kelso or at the link below. They can also be purchased at the Friday night Oak Room sessions (cash only) or on the door on the evening.

CONCERTS:
• FRIDAY 4th - Evening Concert - Heron Valley preceded by Miwa Nagato-Apthorp & Sam Gillespie.

• SATURDAY 5th - Lunchtime Concert - Kiddars Luck preceded by Den Miller and local talent.

• SATURDAY 5th - Evening Concert - Malinky preceded by Katie Spencer & Alex Lyon.

• SUNDAY 6th - Lunchtime Concert - Rant.

WORKSHOPS:

Workshops are all at the Abbey Row Community Centre - running from 9:30am - 11:00am:

• Guitar Tunes with Donald Knox

• Unaccompanied singing with Keith and Louise Giddens

Workshops are ÂŁ5.00 payable directly to the leader/s.
Arrive 15 minutes beforehand. The Centre is 50m from the main Old Kirk venue.

We are usually lucky with the weather over the Festival weekend so for this year! We have a number of non-ticketed options for those of you who prefer to just enjoy the various sessions on offer (mostly in and around the Square:

Friday - 22:00 – 24:00 Session - Cobbles Inn - hosted by Cobbles Band.

Saturday -
14:00 – 17:00 - Singaround - Oak Room - hosted by Kiddar’s Luck.
14:30 – 17:00 - Trad Tune Session - Saddler’s Bar.
14:00 – 14:30 - Rag Bag Morris - Square.
14:30 – 15:00 - Kelso Pipe Band - Square.
15:00 – 17:00 - Open Air Mic - Rutherford’s - hosted by Pete Gillespie.

Sunday -
14:30 – 17:00 - Farewell Session - Oak Room - hosted by Keith & Louise Gittens

For those who have been unable to obtain tickets, we hope to offer informal sessions in the Cross Keys Hotel on Friday evening and Saturday before the Singaround. Details will be circulated once these are confirmed.
