​We don’t always know what someone is navigating, and it’s so easy to accidentally overlook that in the rush of daily life. This is your gentle reminder to pause, look a little closer, and lead with empathy.
​Let’s commit to being there for one another. A simple, thoughtful check-in with a friend or loved one can make a world of difference. You never know how much your kindness might mean to someone who is quietly needing it.

What a fantastic evening at our Indian curry night! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Louii and Megan’s birthday, it was such a pleasure to have you all there. We hope you all got home safely and we can’t wait to see you again on Saturday!

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder that our booking for Louii Murray ’s birthday at Tandoori International 6pm on Ocean Road is all set for tomorrow, 9th june. We have 10 of us going! Thank you so much to everyone joining us, we really appreciate you all coming out to celebrate. Just a heads-up that since you’ve already paid your deposit, remember to subtract £5 from your final bill tomorrow. See you all there! (Please note this is not funded by OAA)

When you’re going through a really difficult time, it is so easy to lose sight of the good in the world. But looking at this photo, I am reminded that there is so much love and resilience surrounding us.
​Seeing our volunteers and group members, people who have their own battles to fight, putting so much heart into making this banner for our fundraiser this Saturday is truly humbling. Even on the days when things feel heavy, they still show up with smiles, which is exactly what we are all about.
​We started Out And About North East CIC to support our community, but the truth is, you all support us just as much. You are the heartbeat of this group. In our own toughest moments, it is your dedication and kindness that keep us going. We honestly cannot thank you all enough from the bottom of our hearts. This picture just made me smile, and it is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you for being such a light.
​I also want to say that it means the world to me that the group continued today. You all went to the drop in and set everything up, even when we couldn't be there ourselves because of what we are going through. You still showed up, put in the effort, and kept those smiles on your faces. It is an absolutely cherished memory.
​A huge THANK YOU SO MUCH to Avis Scott from MI DIXON for the fantastic, amazing, and generous offer with a check for OAA Because of this, we can absolutely go ahead and plan our OAA camping trip. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are fabulous. ❤️
