I would just like to say thank you to all of the residents that took the time to vote yesterday. Not only for myself but for Joanne and Karen too. It wasn’t the result we’d hoped for but we live to fight another day. It has been an absolute pleasure serving as your independent councillor for the last five years. I would also like to wish the Reform Party councillors that have replaced me the very best of luck going forward. Hopefully their hearts are in the right place and they will do Primrose justice.

So here we go again with the he said, she said, I heard this, I heard that. I will not say anything behind someone’s back that I won’t say to their face. I also won’t repeat anything that is third hand as I couldn’t verify it and I certainly won’t name anyone. What’s worse is this is on a wall I am blocked from so cannot comment. So I’ll ask again. Come and have the conversation. Don’t hide behind a keyboard. Then again I have asked many times without success. Keep calling me, keep naming me, keep on twisting my words. I only wish I was this desperate.

Unfortunately because of false, aggressive and slanderous comments from candidates and their supporters in this election I am giving a clear warning. If this behaviour does not stop immediately I am seriously considering making a complaint to the police under section 106 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 (“RPA 1983”).

THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WARNING I AM GOING TO GIVE AND SCREEN SHOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN.

Let’s keep it clean guys. The ridiculous slander being touted by yourselves and your followers is only damaging your own reputation.

On a lighter note I’m starting to feel a little guilty for living inside certain people’s heads rent free. It doesn’t sit right with me so please let me know what I owe you and I’ll settle the bill immediately.

We will be spending the next few days walking the streets visiting residents. If there is anything you wish to discuss please DM me and we will call round to talk to you in person.

Please remember when voting that all of us actually live and breath this ward on a daily basis. Because we live on the ward we are in and out daily and pick up on a lot of the general issues without even having to look for them. Some of the candidates live as far away as Whitburn. Do your homework and vote local. Local candidates are what the ward needs.

Having experience as a councillor comes with time and we all started somewhere. Being the longest serving candidate in this ward means I know it inside out. I know the people and the problems. Together we can make the ward better. Remember on the 7th of May, vote local.
