2025 was a phenomenal year for BTTFRS. As well as our TV work, we were privileged to work on some of the years biggest blockbusters.
In all the blockbusters we worked on, none to date have really tested us, until Hod season 3. They went big and I mean big, big. The practical SFX in this production were massive and stretched us further than we thought possible, here's to Mike Dawson's team at Fizz Bang Wallop effects.
At the start we knew this was going to be big but we were wrong, it wasn't just big, it was massive, the biggest most resource hungry production to date. Words cannot put into perspective the size of this production, and I'm so proud to be able to say we were part of that.
At times there were so many filming units, locations and practical SFX that on a daily basis we had 3 water carriers, 4 fire appliances a 4x4 and 26 firefighters all for this one production.
The attention to detail and professionalism of the production team were second to none.
There were issues at times on our part with staffing and vehicle breakdowns (glad to say, not many), we always find away to sort these things and I genuinely like to thank the production staff, especially Danny for their patience.
