The UK is moving from traditional analogue landlines to a digital phone service over the next few years. While many people won't notice much difference, some residents may need extra support, particularly those who rely on telecare devices, personal alarms, or use their landline as their main way of staying connected.

BT has launched its "Connected Together" initiative to help raise awareness and support communities through the change.

We encourage residents, families, neighbours and carers to find out more and check whether they or someone they know may be affected.

More information can be found on BT's Connected Together webpage - https://www.bt.com/about/all-ip/connected-together?utm_campaign=Chief%2Bexecutive%2527s%2Bbulletin%2B-%2B4%2BJune%2B2026&utm_medium=email

Please help spread the word so everyone can stay connected and informed.

The Parish Council is looking at ways to brighten and improve the area around the village square and clock tower, and weโ€™d love to hear your thoughts.
As the space is quite compact, weโ€™re particularly interested in ideas such as:

๐ŸŒธ Seasonal flowers or planting
๐Ÿชด Decorative planters
๐ŸŒฟ Low-maintenance greenery
๐ŸŽ„ Seasonal displays throughout the year
๐Ÿ Wildlife-friendly planting

Do you have any suggestions for what youโ€™d like to see there?

Please share your ideas by messaging the Parish Council directly by completing the contact form on our website. https://www.iversparishcouncil.gov.uk/ideas-wanted-for-the-village-square/

Weโ€™d love resident feedback as we look at ways to enhance the heart of the village.
