Here's a little sneak peak into a morning at the CFS office! Behind every successful week at CFS is a solid plan...

Even with all the technology available today, we still love having a visual schedule in the office. It gives the team a quick snapshot of what's ahead, helps keep everyone on the same page.

Sometimes there's just no substitute for seeing the plan laid out right in front of you.

This visual schedule primarily covers planned installation projects and remedial works, but as fire protection specialists, we're always ready to respond when the unexpected happens. Emergency call-outs can arise at any time, and our team remains on hand to help keep our customers compliant, protected, and safe.

A lot of work goes into keeping our customers protected and it all starts with good planning.

Recently, our team carried out the annual service of the fire detection system at Co-op's Drayton Road Funeral Hub in Norwich, which we originally installed just over a year ago.

As part of the installation, we specified an Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) system to protect the ceiling voids throughout the building.

Unlike conventional smoke detectors, ASD systems continuously draw air through a network of sampling pipes, allowing them to detect even the smallest traces of smoke at a very early stage.

This makes them an ideal solution for areas where early warning and enhanced fire protection are essential.

Regular servicing ensures systems continue to operate as designed, providing ongoing protection and peace of mind for building operators and occupants alike!

As the UK moves closer to the implementation of Martyn’s Law, schools, colleges, and universities are being encouraged to review and strengthen their emergency response procedures to help protect staff, students, and visitors.

We spent a few days this month at The Fire Safety Event (FSE) at The NEC in Birmingham!
