The screenshots below show something I found quite surprising.

Just a few hours after I emailed Food Standards Scotland with an attached PDF outlining concerns about food safety, public health, and the apparent lack of monitoring or transparency regarding zoonotic disease risks associated with handling and consuming seabirds that have recently been devastated by bird flu, a Senior Scientific Adviser from Food Standards Scotland appeared on my Abolish the Guga Hunt page publicly defending the hunt.

Although I have yet to receive a response to my email, he was quick to jump onto our page and show his support for NatureScot.

Is a Senior Scientific Adviser at Food Standards Scotland primarily concerned with protecting public health, or with supporting the very activity that those concerns relate to?

Unfortunately we have had to cap numbers at 16 and we have already reached capacity but don't fear as in the unlikely event naturescot will grant another licence we will have monthly rooftop parties.

We are considering another naturescot rooftop occupation but this time instead of just two of us we are considering up to 16 people locking on with upgraded lock on technology.
Please message us privately if you are interested in being involved, not for the faint hearted, if you commit to it we expect to be up there for several days.
We will only be carrying out this action if naturescot grant the thugs another licence so it's a case of being prepared and ready to act.
