July has certainly kept the Invergordon crew out of mischief! 🚒🔥
Between midnight pager calls, long days on the run and supporting the response to the wildfires in the Cairngorms, it's been one of our busiest months in a long time.
Despite the lack of sleep and the smell of smoke becoming the new aftershave, the crew have, as always, answered every call with professionalism, commitment and plenty of banter along the way.
A special mention also goes to the gamekeepers, forestry teams, estates and all the local land managers who have worked alongside the emergency services. Their local knowledge, equipment and willingness to get stuck in have been invaluable in tackling these challenging wildfires. It's a real team effort, and we're grateful for everything they've done.
We're incredibly proud of every member of the crew and thankful to our families, employers and everyone who supports us behind the scenes—it really does make a difference.
Here's hoping August lets us catch up on a bit of sleep... but we won't hold our breath! 🚒👏
