Slowly slowly. Thank you for all your kindness and care I am being careful promise but it feels good to get a wee bit done. However slow. I’m excited about this one. Just look at that leather isn’t it gorgeous.

I am managing a wee bit of hand sewing yippee. Much slower and I can’t do a lot but I am delighted. I love love love hand sewing. I started off with a paper hexagon shape which I pin to a piece of quilting fabric. I then baste the fabric around the hexagon paper then sew the hexagons together to make the flowers. I leave the papers in the back until I am ready to sew them onto the backing fabric. Those Rosie fabrics are just so gorgeous and worth the effort.

Just in case you missed it. this gorgeous emerald green leather hand stitched purse is reduced to clear. Down to £45 plus postage. Wouldn’t it be a great graduation gift.

I love finding things I had forgotten about so I have a question. Would anyone be interested in me making more cotton bags like these as reusable gift wrapping ?
