A huge THANK YOU to the amazing team at The Pilgrim Shed Immingham for kindly building and donating a brand new bookcase for our centre!
The previous charity bookcase had definitely seen better days, so Neil (right), Dave (left), along with Mick and Peter, came to the rescue. What a fantastic group of community champions!
Our wonderful swim teacher and all-round community star, Mary Clarke MBE (centre), sells donated items from the bookshelf. Last year alone raised over £750 for charity! 🙌
The money raised has supported small local community groups such as the Immingham Methodist Toddler Group, a local young lady undergoing chemotherapy, and also sponsors a child through Light In Africa in Tanzania. 💛
The Pilgrim Sheds meet at Homestead Park, where they build and repair items for the benefit of our town. You may have seen the beautiful wooden planters around Immingham and at local schools, as well as the much-loved “talking bench” - all created by this brilliant group.
They truly are putting something back into the community. Thank you again for your generosity and community spirit 💙.
