Ashill Village History

Ashill Village History Ashill Village History & Archive Group - Norfolk UK. New volunteers welcome, just come along. Photos, reminiscences etc would be great.

This group meets every Monday morning between 10.00 and 12.00 to curate and maintain the village history archive, built up over 30 years and counting. Hopefully, people who have fond memories of Ashill, Norfolk will help in recording the history of this village. We meet regularly on a weekly basis every Monday morning at the Call In, near the village pond and have just undertaken a complete archiv

e restoration and digital backup of over 14,000 files. The library now contains some 4,000+ photos and hundreds of written records, audio and video. This is still a work in progress. We will now begin to actively update this FB resource (edit added 30.03.2022)
