It is now the time that we begin the countdown to the end of the Summer reading Challenge for another year. Please let us know how many books have been read so we can celebrate with issuing certificates and medals for children who have completed 6 books. If you have not yet finished 6 books, have a go now to complete the challenge!

Another successful face painting morning!
Thanks to Jo and everyone who attended - we had 12 children this morning who came in for face painting! Our puzzle has also been completed today! New one now out 😊

Regretfully, we have made the decision to postpone the Mad Hatter's Tea Party to Friday 30th October. Despite much interest we have not had sufficient bookings to run the event to its full potential.

If you have already booked a space, your payment can be refunded or put toward the Halloween Mad Hatter's Tea Party in October. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause

Concluding our summer of FREE activities for children, this Friday at 2.30-4.00pm there will be a drop-in craft workshop creating wind spinners from recycled CDs and DVDs. This is in keeping with the Summer Reading Challenge theme of read to the beat

You are invited to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party here at the library! There will be sandwiches and cupcakes and fizzy pop served in teapots. There will also be a quiz and a prize for the best costume or mad hat.

There are limited spaces available and booking is essential. This is a Friends of Ilminster Library event and there is a £3 per person charge to cover costs, payable in cash at the library when booking.
