Bicclescombe Mill

Bicclescombe Mill Bicclescombe Mill was first listed in 1795 as a corn mill. By the end of World War II it had fallen The restoration work was completed in June 1975.

In 1973 after 10 years of restoration work by the Rotary Club, the English Tourist Board gave a grant to cover the cost of completing the remaining restoration work. This included converting the adjoining farmhouse into a Tea Rooms and Craft Centre with additional funding from Ilfracombe Urban District Council. The restoration work was masterminded by Glanville Pedlar & Glanville's son, Richard, a Bristol architect, drew up the plans.

🎭 What a way to finish off the summer! 🎭🤎

We had the pleasure of welcoming Studio Theatre Ilfracombe to the Mill today for two fantastic performances. A brilliant way to round off a busy summer and finish the season on a high! ❤️

It’s been a lovely few months at the Mill, with plenty of familiar faces, new faces, good food, coffee, cake and lots going on. We’ve loved being part of your summer and seeing the Mill so full of life.

From tomorrow ( Monday 7th September) ,we’ll be moving to our winter opening times:

Monday – CLOSED
Tuesday – CLOSED
Wednesday – Sunday | 10:30am – 4:30pm

We’ll still be here throughout the winter, ready to welcome you in for a cosy coffee, a bite to eat or a slice of cake. ☕️🍰
