One Ilfracombe

One Ilfracombe One Ilfracombe is about believing that more can be accomplished by working together as a team, than can be achieved separately.

One Ilfracombe is about everyone: our residents, our councils, emergency services, social housing, the Jobcentre, health services and businesses working together as a team. This new way of working puts the community of Ilfracombe at the heart of decision-making by giving them the opportunity to influence how services are delivered in a way that suits local people better. It recognises that the 'on

e size fits all' approach is neither the most effective nor automatically the most efficient way of working. The people of Ilfracombe know what's best for our town.

Over the next couple of weeks our lovely local posties will be delivering an Ilfracombe Town of Culture Postcard through your letter box!
This postcard also acts as a survey so that we can hear your opinions on all things cultural in Ilfracombe - whether you are a frequent engager or someone who gets involved with very little - all of your voices are important.

Some of you would have filled this out online, but we know that some people prefer to go a bit more old school with pen and paper, so this is your chance to have your say!

Once you have completed your survey you can pop it back into on of the many community letterboxes that we have in town.
The deadline is Friday 25th September and our lovely boxes (many of which have been decorated by local artists) are available here:

1.The Ilfracombe Centre, 44 High Street
2. The Landmark Theatre, The Promenade
3.Hand:Plant, 76 High Street
4. BANK Creative Space, 151 High Street

A huge congratulations to Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival on yet another fantastic event!
Can you believe this is their 17th year already?!
Another brilliant example of a volunteer led cultural event in ‘Combe!

Big thanks to Charmain and our awesome volunteers - Mel, Charlotte, Linda, Karen and Millie who worked spoke to so many people and also managed to enjoy everything that the weekend had to offer!
