Hythe Primary School is celebrating a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted having previously been told it ‘requires improvement’.

Finally able to share the great news that we have been rated Good by OFSTED. The staff, governing body & children have all worked really hard over the last few years to get to this point.

As a charity we will be making a loss on this event, so the Friends of Hythe would be very grateful if you would like to turn your ticket purchase into a donation. We will also be honoring any tickets for 2022 presented at our next Fireworks event.

However if you would like a refund, please present your wristbands at Toys Ahoy this week (until 13th November) & you will receive your refund. If this causes you any issues, please email the Friends & we'll see what we can do for you.

Unfortunately due the last night's rain (26mm overnight) we are very, very sorry to announce that we have had to cancel this year’s Hythe Community Fireworks. The ground has now become waterlogged & means that the site just isn’t safe for the access of emergency vehicles.
As a charity we will be making a loss on this event, so the Friends of Hythe would be very grateful if you would like to turn your ticket purchase into a donation. However if you would like a refund, we post how to reclaim over the weekend

As you know this year has been particularly tricky to organise fun events for the kids and to raise money for the school through Friends of Hythe. We have signed up to participate in a Christmas Balloon race, it's eco friendly and excitable for the kids to create their own balloon or buy as gifts for others ready to take off from Lapland on Christmas day, the race takes 7 days and the kids can track their own balloon on the journey. The balloons cost £3 each of which 80% comes to the school. We hope you have fun and please feel free to share the link. Thank you
