DOWEA - Alconbury Middle High School DOWEA is a field activity of the Office of the Secretary of War. Each region is managed by a Director for Student Excellence.

It is headed by a director who oversees all agency functions from DOWEA headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. DOWEA's schools are divided into three regions; DOWEA Europe; DOWEA Pacific; and DOWEA Americas. Wi

Due to the building conditions (classroom temperatures) meeting the criteria for the Regional Heat Stress SOP, and in coordination with our base leadership, all Alconbury Community Schools (Elementary and Middle High) will have an early release today at 11:30 AM.

Dismissal: 11:30 AM
Lunch: Lunch WILL be served for elementary, but not MHS students
Buses: Will run on a modified schedule starting at 11:30 AM.
All after school club and activities will also be cancelled.
Please ensure arrangements are in place for your child's early arrival home. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Teen Center will be open at 1pm.
