Who's joining us at the Carers Together Event tomorrow in partnership with S2R Create Space?

We are proud to share that we have been awarded funding from the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Family, Friends and Carers Matter Fund to deliver our annual Carers Get Together.

Joanne Green, Director of Operations at Cloverleaf Advocacy, said: "Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Family, Friends and Carers Matter Fund for their support in making this community-based project possible.

This is such important work. Unpaid carers give their time freely and without hesitation, and our aim is to bring people together to recognise and support them. Our partners will be on hand to offer a warm welcome, provide expert advice, share experiences and offer valuable support.

There will also be a range of enjoyable activities and refreshments for everyone, making it a truly special day โ€“ all made possible thanks to this generous funding.โ€

Partners from the Working Together Better Partnership will also be in attendance.

To celebrate , we'd like to shed light on the amazing volunteering done by our Carers Count Mental Health team in Kirklees. This includes:

๐ŸŒณ Litter picking at Crow Nest Park, collecting eight bags of rubbish.

๐Ÿ‘• Supporting The Kirkwood Donation Centre - Mirfield by organising donations, taking photos, and uploading items to their website.

โš“ Volunteering at Mirfield Shepley Bridge Marina to give back to Safe Anchor Trust for all the wonderful barge trips we've had over the years! Last October, the team planted hundreds of daffodils and bluebells, cut back vegetation obstructing the pavement, and cleared 29 bags of litter from the canal!

๐Ÿ’ฌ Feedback from the Safe Anchor Team included: "Your teams were fantastic and we would like them to join us again in the future.โ€

A massive thank you to the Carers Count Mental Health team for all their hard work!
