New UL-EU Upgrades Now Available.

We are pleased to share that we've upgraded UL-EU certifications across the Protecta range.

Key upgrades include:
- Comprehensive panel wall approvals for Protecta FR Board, FR Graphite, FR IPT, FR Collar, FR Service Transit and FR Acrylic.
- Ventilation duct approvals (EN 1366-1) now included for Protecta FR Board and EX Mortar.
- Approvals designed to suit a wide range of mineral wool insulated panel wall systems.
- Upgrades that will be transferred into future ETA and UKTA updates.

These enhancements provide greater flexibility, wider application coverage and more tested solutions for passive fire protection projects.

Important update for Protecta customers.

The standalone Protecta Solution Finder App will soon be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The Protecta Solution Finder is now fully integrated into the Protecta Project Manager Software and mobile app, giving users access to tested Protecta systems alongside project planning, installation recording, reporting and traceability tools.

If you only require access to the Solution Finder, you do not need to actively use the wider project management features. However, registration is required to access the platform.

You can continue to access the Protecta Solution Finder:

Protecta FR Acrylic just received a major certification upgrade.
And the scope is now bigger than ever.

The latest update adds:
• Sandwich panel wall approvals
• Flexible timber floor and suspended ceiling approvals
• Reduced aperture separation distances
• Annular gaps below 10mm in certain tested applications
• Hollow core slab fire sealing guidance
• New approvals for specialist pipe systems and penetrating services

This is a significant expansion to an already extensive range of tested and classified applications. As modern buildings become more complex, tested flexibility becomes increasingly important, especially where space is restricted, service density is high, and construction methods continue to evolve.

Before a fire test begins, the work has already started.

Behind every tested detail is careful planning and build-up. Systems must be installed exactly as they will be assessed, from the supporting construction to the services and fire stopping itself.

Every detail matters: Service type. Spacing. Substrate. Installation. Fire tests to standards such as EN 1366-3 don’t just assess products, they prove complete systems.
