🎳 Bowls Spectacular for Prostate Cancer UK! 💙

Houghton Regis Bowls Club is hosting its 7th Annual Bowls Spectacular on Sunday 27 September, with special guest and Luton Town legend Mick Harford! ⚽️

With free admission, hot food, a full bar, raffles and plenty of bowls action, come along, show your support and help raise funds for a fantastic cause. 💙

A fantastic £23,459.39 has already been donated over the years — let’s help them raise even more! 👏

🍂 Hello September! Where has the year gone?! 🍂

We can’t quite believe we’re in September already! According to the meteorological calendar, we’re officially into autumn, the kids are heading back to school… but that certainly doesn’t mean the events stop! 🎉

This month we have Heritage Day coming up over at Houghton Hall Park on the 19th September, with plenty of history, culture and entertainment to enjoy. ⚔️🏰

After that, things may be a little quieter for a short while… but don’t worry, we’ll be back in October, November and December with another host of events for you to enjoy! 🎆🎄✨

💚Heritage Open Day 2026💚

Following the fantastic success of last year’s event, Heritage Open Days are returning to Houghton Hall Park!

Join us on Saturday 19 September 2026 for a free day of history, culture, and discovery as we bring the past to life and celebrate our local community's heritage.

As part of England’s largest festival of history and culture, Houghton Hall Park will open its doors for a fascinating journey through the past – with plenty to see and experience along the way.

⚔️ Watch History Come to Life!

One of this year’s highlights will be our Viking and Saxon Battle Re-enactment, where you can step back in time and witness a dramatic clash between Vikings and Saxons.

Experience the sights and sounds of a rebellion brought to life, with warriors, historic characters and an action-packed re-enactment showcasing what life and conflict could have been like centuries ago.
