The children had a fantastic time today taking part in Mr Twister Magic Show and balloon modelling. What a great way to end this summer's school holiday activities. The children have loved all of the activities, with some many attending each session
We've welcomed lots of new local residents too which has been amazing.

This afternoon, the families made a traditional spaghetti bolognaise together and learnt that carrots used to be purple and ice cream originated in China as part of our family food quiz.

The children at the Coalfields School Holiday activity had fun today playing lots of different games past and present.
Next Monday is our last holiday activity of the summer and what a great way to end with Darren Bonas and his fantastic magic show and balloon modelling. This activity is FULLY BOOKED.

Only 2 days to go before the Elemore Music Festival. It's a great day out and the ☀ will be out. There will be lots to and great live entertainment!

Houghton Racecourse Community Association will be running a fantastic tombola stall- amazing prizes to be won so come along- got to be in it to win it!

The families enjoyed 'getting crafty' today and had lots of fun together.
Next week, we have family cooking at the later time of 2pm. Spaces are limited and booking is required.

The children have had a great afternoon choosing and decorating their own cakes as part of their Coalfields School Holiday activity. Thanks so much to our professional cake maker, Mary, for coming along today and leading on this fab activity!
We'll be back again next Monday for retro board games.
