Some clarification on our food bin collection.

Yes, you can! Your food waste does not need to be bagged or lined before going into the outdoor food waste bin.

If you prefer, you can use liners, kitchen paper, or old newspaper to line your kitchen caddy, especially as this can help soak up liquids and make it easier to empty.
But if you would rather put your food waste in loose, that is absolutely fine too.

We are delighted to unveil our new logo and livery for Friends of Horsham Park.

Inspired by the values at the heart of our organisation, the design brings together the three things that define who we are: Horsham, Nature, and People.

🌳 Nature — The two tree forms represent the beauty, wildlife, and green spaces of Horsham Park.

🤝 People — The trees lean towards one another, symbolising connection, community, and the volunteers, visitors, families, and supporters who make the park so special.

📍 Horsham — Look closely and you’ll discover a subtle “H” formed by the connection between the two trees, representing our shared home.

Our icon set is made up of simple, playful shapes that represent the coming togetner of nature, wildlife and community.

This new identity reflects our mission to:

Anyone got their new food waste bins yet?

Your outside food waste bin has a lockable handle that keeps the lid closed tight - meaning your food waste will stay secure in the outside bin until collection day. The indoor caddy also has a lockable handle, so carrying it outside is safe. If you want to know more about what you can recycle in your food waste bin, or when the service will start in your area, visit our website:
