South Stack Lighthouse & Visitor Centre

South Stack Lighthouse & Visitor Centre A group of local people have created this to ensure that the lighthouse and island remain open to the public.

Lighthouse Tours are run by South Stack Ynys Lawd Ltd a not for profit company.

Due to the unseasonal Winds which are blowing at over 40 Mph on the Island we will have to remain closed today.
Apologies if this causes inconvenience.

Pupils and staff from Treffos Independent School from Llansadwrn near Menai Bridge visited us recently, it looks from the write up they have given us that they had a great time exploring the Lighthouse and Island.
They all left happy with a nice Keyring as a souvenir of their visit.

Due to demand we will be trialling opening a little later over the coming Bank holiday Week, these times will be as follows,
Saturday 23 May 2026 to Thursday 28 May 10 AM till 5 PM.
Friday 29 May 12.00 Noon till 5 PM.
Saturday and Sunday 30 & 31 May 10.00 AM till 5 PM.
The Ticket Kiosk will close at 4 PM with last entry on the Island at 4.15 PM.
Card payment preferred in the Kiosk and on the Island but of course cash will be accepted at both.
