Upcoming Webinars 🚨 Two weeks to go!
Reliable Fire Detection for Warehouses & Logistics: Matching Technology to the Risk

📅 17th June 2026

Option 1:
🕥 10:00am (Pacific Time - US and Canada)
🔈 Kevin Botha, Head of Technical Support
Option 2:
🕥 11:00am (Dubai)
🔈 Ashutosh Kumar, Technical Sales Engineer - MEA & APAC

Warehousing and logistics facilities bring complex fire detection challenges, from high-bay spaces and airflow-driven smoke movement to the high cost of false alarms and downtime.

Join our webinar as we compare optical beam, aspirating smoke (ASD), flame and linear heat detection, focusing on where each works best and how they integrate.

Using a real-world distribution centre case study, we will show how the right detection mix can reduce devices at height, simplify maintenance and maintain early warning.

Theory is one thing - applying it on a live warehouse is another. Our warehouse and logistics case study walks through how Fireray beams, Sensis ASD, Talentum flame and Proreact linear heat were combined to protect open volume, picking areas, conveyors and charging bays.

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we drew on the talents of one of our very own team members - Senehe, our resident artist - to host a special creative session for staff 🎨
Art therapy is widely recognised for its positive impact on mental health. Taking time to create can help reduce stress, improve focus and give our minds a chance to slow down. Some of our team joined a lunchtime session to try their hand at sculpting, the session was a lot of fun and proved that you don’t need to be “good at art” - it’s about the process, not the end result. Here are some of our creations🖌️

The fire at London Luton Airport’s multi-storey car park in October 2023 remains one of the most significant UK fire incidents in recent years.

What began as a single vehicle fire escalated rapidly, affecting thousands of passengers and causing major disruption to airport operations.

Our latest blog explores:
🔸how the incident developed and why it escalated so quickly
🔸the changing fire risk profile of modern car parks
🔸the impact of factors such as vehicle design, layout and lack of suppression
🔸why early detection and intervention are critical in preventing escalation

We were pleased to welcome Alistair Strathern to FFE in Hitchin today.

During his visit, Alistair toured our facilities and saw demonstrations of our beam smoke, flame, aspirating smoke and linear heat detection technologies, along with how they can be applied in real industrial environments to help prevent fires, protect people and safeguard infrastructure.

With increasing focus on the risks associated with lithium-ion batteries and waste facilities, it was a valuable opportunity to share how specialist fire detection can support earlier intervention and help reduce the impact of industrial fires.

Thank you to Alistair for taking the time to visit us and learn more about the work being done here in Hitchin.
