Loneliness Awareness Week is a global campaign hosted by the loneliness charity Marmalade Trust. 👐

Every day our volunteer drivers are making a difference in our communities by transporting local residents to where they need to be, improving health and wellbeing for passengers and drivers too. 🚗

Loneliness Awareness Week is a global campaign hosted by the loneliness charity Marmalade Trust.

This week, 15th - 21st June, is dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness by inspiring conversation and communication. 🫶

Here at North Herts & Stevenage Community Transport Scheme we help reduce loneliness connecting our communities compassionately by providing a reliable and friendly door-to-door car service where other transport may not be possible. 🚗

We run our own local projects too - and are all part of our big family, so we understand the realities of managing a charity or community group. From funding and governance to policies, planning and day-to-day challenges, our team is here to support you.

We also bring local organisations together through networking events, forums and partnerships, creating opportunities to share ideas, solve challenges and build stronger communities together.

It's the final day of and while we don't need just one week a year to thank our wonderful team, it's given us a special reason to honour our dedicated heroes and celebrate all things volunteering!
