Friends of Shannon Court visited the home in Hindhead today, Father’s Day gifts for all the gents, initialed hanky and some aftershave.
Everyone was pleased to see Lee & Mike Robinson (former Chairman)

Bernie Greenwood Secretary for the Association of Friends of Shannon Court, announced the annual general meeting will be on Sunday 1st June at 11:00am to held in the lounge at the home in Hindhead.
All are welcome to attend the meeting but only those who are members of the Association may vote in the elections.

The Association of Friends of Shannon Court hosted thier annual Ladies Night at the home on Friday, 3 course dinner was served to the residents & guests, gifts for the ladies, entertainment, singing and dancing!
The residents love this special night and everyone had a fabulous time.
Royal Arch Provincial Stewards offered their help on the night, along with a very special rendition of YMCA.
Thank you to the committee members for organising and helping with the event also.

Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with the residents of Shannon Court in Hindhead, one of two Masonic Care homes in Surrey, and the residents still know how to enjoy themselves, thanks to Shaun for handing out these very special one off engraved glasses as gifts to commemorate the occasion, thanks to Nick Dyer & Lee Williamson!

Happy Easter at Shannon Court, one of two Surrey RMBI care homes, as the Friends Association delivered Easter eggs to all the residents at the home, everyone loves a bit of chocolate!
Also, some pictures from a recent visit on Mothering Sunday.
Our next event at the home is our ‘ladies night’ on May 9th with gifts for all the ladies, along with a lovely diner & entertainment too.
All of this is only possible with the support of lodges, chapters and individual donations, plus of course buying our raffle tickets with first prize of £1,000!

The Friends' visited Shannon Court to give presents to to the residents all of whom seemed happy and ready for the festive season.

Shannon Court had a visit from the Association of Friends, Shaun Hunter the new Deputy Chairman, delivered Fathers Day gifts to the residents, smiles all round along with some chat.

Open to all on the day without booking but excludes food.

Court Tea Party will be on Sunday June 30th from 12.30 – 4.30pm.

This year’s event will be opened by Surrey’s Right Worship Provincial Grand Master.

The Friends of Shannon Court are pleased to announce this years ‘Tea Party’ will take place in the grounds at the home in Hindhead.

Following last years success and popularity ‘The Satin Dollz Trio’ with their singing & dancing will be with us again, if you missed them last year, they were simply fantastic.

There will also be a Free ‘tea party’ for all those who book to attend, with sandwiches, cakes, tea, or coffee, donations will be gratefully received.
There will a cash bar serving Pimm’s & Beer, plus a selection of soft drinks.
Also, Nigel Foreman is back with his ice cream van, and donating all profits to the Friends Association.

Relax and enjoy an afternoon of music, singing, dancing and entertainment.

We have our fantastic prize draw; tickets are just £1 each and the prizes are.

1st Prize: £1,000
2nd Prize: £250
3rd Prize: £100

Booklets of tickets have been posted to each Lodge Secretary & Scribe E.
They will also be available by request and on the day.

So even if you can’t attend why not support the raffle, you could win up to £1,000
All profits are donated to the Association of Friends of Shannon Court and dedicated to improving the lives of the residents.

Massive thank you to all who attended the Annual Shannon Court Charity Shoot at Surrey Shooting School at Reigate.
Over 100+ from across Surrey, Mason, non-masons, ladies & gentleman, also good support from Hampshire & Isle Wight Masons, gathered on a lovely sunning day for fun while raising money for charity.
As well as trophies for the winners many went home with prizes from the raffle.
A total of £2,900 was raised thanks to everyone’s generosity, along with support from the Surrey Masonic Sports Association.
Thanks to all the helpers on the day, without your help we couldn’t run such an event.

Residents at the Shannon Court RMBI Care Home at Hindhead were treated to a wonderful Ladies Night on Friday, a lovely three course dinner and drinks were served to residents & invited guests by members of the Friends Committee along with help from a number Provincial Grand Stewards.
They were also presented with gifts and entertainment, and of course some dancing!
