🚨 Witness Appeal – Tylers Green, High Wycombe 🚨

We are appealing for witnesses following a concerning incident in Tylers Green, High Wycombe.

At around 08:50hrs on Friday 22 May 2026, a black Hyundai was driven across The Green, near to School Lane. The driver then approached a number of members of the public and was reported to be shouting at them.

We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this incident, the vehicle involved, or who has any dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time.

The Wycombe West Neighbourhood team have continued their joint operations with the DVLA to target untaxed vehicles on the roads 🚗

Across the West of Wycombe, around 6000 vehicles have been checked in total

Around 200 of those vehicles were found to be untaxed, many of these have subsequently received enforcement by the DVLA

This is a reduction in the amount of vehicles found to be untaxed compared to the team's last DVLA operation in April 👮‍♂️

This vehicle casually drove past PC Roberts this morning on Marlow Hill, High Wycombe with the majority of its lights not working.

After being stopped, a number of issues were identified with both the vehicle and its occupants:

-Both the driver and passenger were detained and searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 💊🧐
-An open bottle of alcohol was found in the vehicle, so the driver was required to complete a roadside breath test 🌬️
(Fortunately, it was the passenger who had been drinking—not the driver)
-The vehicle was found to have no valid insurance 😐

The vehicle has since been recovered, and the occupants walked the rest of the way home🚶‍♂️

We can’t be everywhere, but we can be anywhere—make sure you are driving legally and insured.

⚠️ ASB UPDATE: YOUTHS ON MOPED IN MARLOW

Following a recent appeal for information, we have been able to identify 4 youths riding a burgundy/red coloured moped in the Shelley Road and James Close areas of Marlow.

Initial contact with parents of the youths, appears to have had the desired effect with no further reports of similar activity. We still hope to identify 2 girls who were riding with no crash helmets.

🙏🏻Thank you to all members of public who helped to provide us with the information necessary to help us address the issue. We will not tolerate Anti-Social Behaviour and will always look to deal it swiftly and robustly.

👮‍♂️ Community Engagement in Hazlemere 👮‍♀️

Officers from Incident and Crime Response Team 5 had a fantastic time visiting Little Cherubs Nursery in Hazlemere today to talk to the children about staying safe and the important role of police officers in the community.

The children were eager to learn about what officers do each day — and even had the chance to try on some of our kit, which was a big hit! 🚓✨

We’re pleased to confirm that parental permission was given for any images shared of the children.

Thank you to everyone at Little Cherubs for such a warm welcome. It was great to meet you all!

JOINT FORCES WATER SAFETY EVENT AT MARLOW 🚔 🚒

In a week where there has been a tragic loss of life due to water-related incidents, Marlow NHPT joined forces with Bucks Council Community Safety and Bucks Fire & Rescue teams at Higginson Park.

Checks were also carried out at nearby Marlow Water-Ski Club and Cookham Bridge, where youths have been reported swimming and jumping off the bridge. Increased patrolling is already happening around those locations.

Predominantly getting the message out to the younger members of our community, advice was given on how and where to swim safely. Swimming is generally prohibited on most stretches of open water, unless with an organised swim club.

Water is unpredictable:
✅ STOP and THINK - What dangers can you see?
✅ DON'T be caught out on your own - STAY TOGETHER and LOOK AFTER EACHOTHER
✅ If you fall in, stay calm and FLOAT to live
✅ Swim in a controlled environment with lifeguard supervision
