🚧 A full road closure is in place on Desborough Road and Lansdale Road while we deal with the incident.
🌫️ Smoke is visible in the surrounding area.

Safety advice:
Please avoid the area if possible while we continue our work. If you are affected by smoke, keep windows and doors closed.

Last night, crews from High Wycombe were hosted by ASM who kindly used their machinery to place a scrap vehicle for us to train on.

The focus of this training session was -

• Simulating a real life scenario.

• Stabilising a vehicle in a precarious position.

• Space creation to allow better access.

• Casualty care and extrication.

Thanks to all involved for assisting with crew development.

🔥 Calling Local Businesses in High Wycombe – Can You Help? 🔥

Firefighters here at High Wycombe Fire Station are looking for derelict, unused, or unoccupied areas of commercial or industrial premises that could be used as training locations for our crews to practise essential drills, like using our breathing apparatus sets in unfamiliar environments.

If you own or manage a business or commercial site with sections that are no longer in use and you’re happy for us to attend on a pre-arranged date and time (fire call dependent!), we’d love to hear from you.
These realistic environments support our commitment to prepare and train for the worst so we can be at our best during real emergencies when you need us most.

✔️ We will carry out our own full risk assessment prior to any training.

✔️ There is no liability placed on the business or property owner.

✔️ All activity will be supervised, professional, and fully respectful of your premises.
