Renting rights have changed as of 1st May 📢

New laws are giving renters more security and helping make renting fairer for everyone.

Here’s what you need to know:
🏠 No more fixed 12-month tenancies
📅 You can now leave at any time with two months’ notice
⚠️ One tenant can still end the tenancy for the whole household
🚫 “No fault” evictions are now illegal — landlords must provide a legal reason to evict you

Thames Valley Air Ambulance ✨🚁

Thames Valley Air Ambulance gives everybody in our community the best chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency. Providing hospital-level critical care by land and air across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, their highly trained paramedics and doctors are ready for any eventuality.

As an independent charity, they are not government or NHS funded and rely on the generosity of the local community to continue saving lives every day.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the vote. We can’t wait to support this incredible charity throughout the next academic year 💙

This council we will be looking back over the past year, seeing what has happened, where we have succeeded, fallen short, and how we can do better in future.
