Thames Valley Air Ambulance is a charity at the frontline of saving lives. We bring the hospital to the patient, giving you the best chance when the worst happens. Every day, somebody in our community could be in urgent need of our service. We rely solely on the generous support of the public. One in three people wouldn't feel confident stepping in to perform CPR. Here's how we're changing that. 👇

🚍 65 bus drivers are now trained in lifesaving CPR

🧑 2,812 people have attended FREE CPR workshops

🚌 Over 40,000 passengers have travelled on our CPR bus

👩‍⚕ 30 clinicians attended our Advanced Life Support courses

💓 71 members of staff are now equipped with an automatic external defibrillator (AED)

When Millie came off her horse in 2025, her life was changed in an instant. Millie suffered a significant head injury and remained in the neurological intensive care unit for nine days after being placed into an induced coma.

Thanks to the vital role our crew played on scene and the support offered by our Aftercare team, Millie has been able to enjoy being back in the saddle once again. ❤

Millie’s parent’s said “We’re filled with gratitude that Thames Valley Air Ambulance came into our lives. They made the worst times bearable.”.

Did you know that only one in three people in our region would feel confident performing CPR?

Fewer than one in ten people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, but when bystanders act quickly with CPR and a defibrillator, a person’s chances of survival more than doubles.

That’s why we’re hosting FREE CPR workshops this . Our CPR awareness sessions will teach you what to do in a critical situation and give you the confidence to act when it matters most. 💓

Cardiac arrest can happen anytime, anywhere. By learning how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator, you could give someone in the community the best possible chance of survival.
