*** Date Change For June Parish Council Meeting ***
Unfortunately due to a clerical error we need to move the June meeting date. The meeting was originally intended to be held tomorrow, but will now instead be held next week, on Wednesday 17th of June 2026 at 19:30 in the High Bickington Community Centre.
We would like to apologise to the Village for any inconvenience caused and the late notice of this change.

MEETING CANCELLATION
Due to the sudden tragic passing of one of our Parish Councillors, the planned Parish Council meeting for this Wednesday 11th of March 2026 has been cancelled.
The next Parish Council meeting will be Wednesday 8th of April 2026.

The Parish Council had previously identified the extended time it would take for those in the North of the Village to access the current Community Defibrillators. In an emergency situation, seconds and minutes count. We have therefore purchased a new Defibrillator and solar powered cabinet, and have this morning installed them near the entrance to Fountain Fields. This location will not only mean those in the North end of the Village have quicker access to this lifesaving equipment in an emergency, but being next to the main road, it will also be more easily accessible by road to those living in more outlying properties within the Parish.

The next Parish Council meeting is this Wednesday, the 14th of January 2026 at 19:30 in the upstairs meeting room at High Bickington Community Centre.

We will be discussing outline planning application 1/1000/2025/OUTM, for 35 properties off of North Road on the Southern end of the Village.
