🚜 WE NEED A PAIR OF EXTRA HANDS... FAST! 🌽☀️

Brimstage Maze is gearing up for a big summer yet... but we urgently need a couple of practical, hard-working people to help us bring it all together.

This isn't your average maintenance role.

One minute you could be building signs, fixing fences or putting up bunting. The next, you might be mowing grass, helping create our giant summer attractions, painting, landscaping, shifting materials or generally getting stuck in wherever you're needed.

If you're the type of person who rolls up their sleeves, cracks on and takes pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you.

✅ Immediate start
✅ Full-time hours available for the next 5 weeks (with the potential for ongoing work for the right person)
✅ Based at Brimstage
✅ Driving licence essential
✅ Variety of work...no two days are ever the same!

We're looking for someone who is:

🔨 Practical and hands-on
🌦️ Happy working outdoors in all weather
💪 Hard-working and reliable
🧠 A self-starter who doesn't need constant direction
🚜 Farm, maintenance or landscaping experience would be fantastic
⏰ Flexible and happy to put in the hours when needed
😊 Positive, committed and up for being part of a great team

The maize waits for no man…not even marathon runners 🌽🏃

3 weeks ago today, this field looked VERY different…

☀️ The sun was shining
🚜 The tractors were rolling
🌱 And over ONE MILLION maize kernels were planted right here at Brimstage Farm!

Fast forward to this week…it's a bit chilly...but the first tiny maize plants have appeared 🌱

It’s honestly mind-blowing to think these little shoots will be over 6ft tall in just 8 weeks 😳

We are looking for an experienced maintenance person to work on our farms on the Wirral (Raby, Brimstage & Barnston)

🚜Driving license essential
🗓️To start early May ideally
🛠️General maintenance
🌾Grass cutting & landscaping
🌳Hedge cutting
🪚Gate repairs & fencing
🐄Experience of farm work would also be great!

We can be very flexible with working days/hours (approx 30 hours a week, with the option for more hours for the right person).

Maggie’s Fest 2026 is back it's fourth year running and we’re looking for local stall holders! 🎉🧡

Last year’s Maggie’s Fest saw over 2,500 people attend, and we’re aiming to make 2026 even bigger and better!
🔸 Saturday 5th September 2026 at Brimstage Farm & Maze
🔸 Stalls are £55
🔸 12pm – late
🔸 All stalls are outdoors
🔸 Please note: no food or drink stalls
🔸To keep things fair, only 1–2 of the same type of stall will be accepted

Farmer Bob, Farmer Sam & Farmer Steve have been flat-out keeping everything growing, mooing & moving (it’s that time of year 🌾), so our playbarn will remain closed over the Easter holidays…we’re so sorry!

We promise it’ll be worth the wait...the farming trio are giving the barn a HUGE revamp & it’s already looking fantastic. We can’t wait to welcome you back & see lots of happy faces very soon!

🔥 WOW… WHAT A NIGHT! 🔥

Last Friday we hosted Maggie’s Clatterbridge’s very first Firewalk here at Brimstage Farm…& safe to say it was EPIC.

A huge crowd, an incredible atmosphere & 45 fearless walkers who quite literally walked across red-hot coals for charity! 🔥

And the result? An absolutely phenomenal £20,000+ raised for Maggie’s...an amazing local charity that means so much to so many of us. We are completely blown away.

Massive congratulations to the “Fearless 45” who took on the challenge (you are officially braver than the rest of us! 👏🔥).

And a huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported, donated and helped make the night so special.

What an unforgettable evening for an incredible cause. We couldn’t be prouder to have hosted it ❤️

Please come along & support these hot footed, fabulous people - there's no entry charge but do bring some coins (or notes) to chuck in the big orange Maggie's bucket! Oh... & wrap up warm as this is an outdoor event!!! 🥶

The fabulous fire performers shall commence at 6pm (so please arrive from 5.45pm)... with music, performers, food & drinks served 'til 9.30pm🔥
