📢 The (Regulation 14) public consultation on the draft Castle Plus Neighbourhood Plan is now open and residents are invited to share their thoughts by 26th October 2026.

Launched at BEAM Hertford earlier this week, the Castle Plus has been developed by a Community Steering Group, with support from Hertford Town Council and an independent planning consultant.

The Neighbourhood Plan covers green spaces and nature, community facilities, sustainable homes and movement, heritage and design, and business and the local economy - once completed, it will help guide future development and inform planning decisions affecting the Castle Plus area.

This Saturday, pop into BEAM Hertford between 10.00am and 3.00pm to view the draft Neighbourhood Plan and ask questions, or go online to: www.castleplushertford.co.uk/statutoryconsultation.

Paper copies are available at Hertford Library, Hertford Castle, BEAM Hertford and the Town & Tourist Information Centre which has a display - Go Hertford
