Hartham Leisure Centre Here at Hartham Leisure Centre, we’ve got a huge range of activities and facilities for you to enjoy.

A modern hub with a 120-station gym, 33 m heated pool (with boom feature), two group fitness studios, spin studio & reformer studio, four-storey soft play area, TAGplay, 3G & grass football pitches, tennis court, café, and accessible facilities. Starting off indoors, we’ve got an 85-station gym with all the latest kit, while our swimming pool is perfect for swimmers of all abilities. Furthermore,

we’ve also got a huge range of group exercise classes for you to choose from, from which we’re sure you’ll find one you love. Outside, there are two 3G artificial football pitches to enjoy, alongside two full-size and two seven-a-side grass pitches, while tennis fans can also hire our outdoor court throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to Lucy, our May Swimmer of the Month! 🎉

Lucy has shown fantastic dedication, enthusiasm, and determination in every session this month. Her positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and commitment to improving her swimming have really stood out to our coaches.

Thanks to all of her hard work and consistent progress, Lucy has recently moved from Stage 3 into Stage 4 – a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the effort she puts into every lesson! 🏅

We're incredibly proud of everything Lucy has achieved and can't wait to see what she accomplishes next.

Last week we spoke about the importance of social connection and while talking to others comes naturally to some, for many it can feel a little daunting. 

So where do you start? 💛 

Group Exercise classes are a great way to become part of a community without the pressure. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about connection too. Moving together naturally creates a sense of belonging. 

Exercising in a group can help boost motivation, reduce feelings of stress and isolation, and build confidence. Even the smallest interactions, a smile from another member or encouragement from an instructor, can have a positive impact.

Help your child build confidence in the water and learn valuable water safety skills with our free swimming lessons.

📅 Wednesday – Rookie Lifeguard Sessions

🕓 16:00–16:45 | Stages 4–6
✔ Must be able to swim 20m confidently
✔ Participants will need to bring clothes to wear in the water for practical lifesaving activities

🕟 16:45–17:30 | Stages 7–10
✔ Must be able to swim 50m or more confidently
✔ Participants will need to bring clothes to wear in the water for practical lifesaving activities

These sessions are available to swimmers already on our scheme and those new to us.

📅 Thursday – Beginners Session

🕔 17:45–18:15 | Stages 1–3
✔ For children aged 4–8 years
✔ Available for new swimmers not currently enrolled on our scheme
