Aylestone Park

Aylestone Park Aylestone Park, Herefordshire. Owned by Herefordshire Council. Maintained by Volunteers. Car parks at the park can accommodate up to 100 cars.

Aylestone Park is on the northern boundary of Hereford city and extends to some 47 acres of Public Open Space with 300m of canal running along the northeast edge. The Park has three distinct areas known as the “conservation” area on the upper area of the park, the “recreation” area and orchard on the hillsides and the mostly flat “sports” area. The whole area is maintained, almost exclusively, by

Volunteers. These volunteers constructed over 5 km of stoned footpaths on the Park, two view-points and a number of picnic areas during the past 18 years

It’s National Biscuit Day! And in the 35-degree heat, we have officially discovered that a Chocolate Digestive is a highly risky afternoon choice...

We are having an incredibly serious, highly heated debate in the TPG office today. What is the definitive, ultimate "cuppa companion" for a Friday afternoon in Hereford?

1. The Reliable Rich Tea (The structural engineer—holds its shape if you're quick).
2. The Mighty Hobnob (The SAS of biscuits—can survive a 10-second dunk).
3. The Classic Custard Cream (The crowd-pleaser).
4. The "I’m posh on a Friday" Shortbread Fingers.
