đź‘€Did anyone see the programme last night about fly-tipping across the Country?

‼️Many of the issues are caused by unlicensed waste collectors. If you have rubbish and someone takes it away, make sure you check they are correctly waste registered.

Some steps to protect yourself:-

👉Remember to ask questions
👉Ask to see their waste carrier registration
👉Never accept unsolicited offers to have waste taken away
👉Get more than one quote
👉Expect to pay a reasonable fee
👉Record the vehicle registration details
👉Share - if someone offers to remove your waste and they are not or cannot prove they are registered - let us know!

It’s almost time to cast your vote...

Polling stations open tomorrow from 7am to 10pm—make sure you bring your photo ID. A little preparation goes a long way, think about who you're going to vote for prior to arriving at your polling station and get ready to have your say.

🚨 Electrical waste temporarily paused at Norfolk recycling centres 🔌🔋
Following a fire at a commercial site in Thetford used by our electrical waste contractor, all Norfolk recycling centres are currently unable to accept electrical items or batteries.
What you need to know:
❌ Electrical items and batteries can’t be accepted at recycling centres for now
⏳ We’re working on contingency plans and hope to restart collections by the middle of next week
🔥 Please do not put electricals or batteries in your household bin – this is a serious fire risk
🏠 If you can, store unwanted electrical items safely at home until services resume
📦 District Council bulky waste collections are likely to be affected - please check with your District Council for updates

Thank you for your patience while we work to get services back up and running. We’ll share updates as soon as we have them.
