Wow… where do we even begin? What a fantastic day!

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the weather to join us at this year’s Eggstravaganza. Despite the heavy mizzle it turned out to be a brilliant event. We hope everyone who came along had a great time!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised nearly £500 towards ongoing improvements to the park — absolutely amazing! 🥳

A massive shoutout to all our volunteers, committee members and their partners who got roped in to help (willingly or not! 😄). We couldn’t have done it without you.

And of course, thank you to our brilliant local businesses who continue to support us and help make these free community events possible. We’re so grateful — hope I haven’t missed anyone,

Massive shoutout to Sainsbury's Helston for this egg-cellent bundle for Friday’s Eggstravaganza! 🐣 Who else can’t resist a hot cross bun (or three) at Easter?! 😄

We’re still happily accepting cake donations for our refreshments table—because you can never have too much cake, right? 🍰

And just a heads-up: we’re going ahead whatever the weather throws at us! If a little drizzle might dampen your plans, please let us know so we can pass your spot on to some truly dedicated (and possibly slightly soggy) egg hunters! 🤣

*Eggciting News* we should have some very special guests join us for this years Eggstravaganza at the park with thanks to Crewenna Poultry who will be lending out some of their ‘ansome new arrivals for a “chick &chat” 🐣 🐥 🥚

Our seedlings are growing beautifully and will soon be ready for potting on and taking home! 🌱

Brilliant bit of work at the park today! The willow den is looking fabulous again! Thank you everyone involved!

Don’t forget willow work tomorrow afternoon at the park (2pm) forecast is looking fabulous ☀️ if u help cut it you can take some home to craft/ weave and enjoy in your own gardens. Please bring gloves and choppers / secateurs!

2pm Saturday 21st March we will be cutting back and reweaving the willow den at the park. Please come along and give us a hand! Bring gloves and cutters, children need to be supervised at all times. Any willow sculptures welcome to take cuttings home!
