🌿 Yoga for Everybody – Join Our Weekly Garden Yoga Group 🌿

You do not need to be flexible, fit, experienced, or even own a yoga mat to take part. Our weekly garden yoga group is designed for everyone.

🧘 Whether you are new to yoga, returning after a break, managing mobility challenges, or simply looking for a gentle way to relax and connect with others, you will find a warm welcome here.

🌿 FREE Home Education Nature Poetry Workshops at John Clare Cottage! 🌿

We’re delighted to be offering a series of FREE nature poetry workshops for home-educated children this summer.

Designed and led by University Centre Peterborough students, these engaging sessions combine outdoor learning, creative writing and nature exploration, helping young people connect with the natural world through the poetry of John Clare.

🍃 Explore a different John Clare poem each week

👀 Use a “Super Senses Passport” to discover nature through sight, sound, touch and smell

🎨 Take part in themed crafts and activities

✍️ Create your own nature-inspired poems

🌳 Learn in the beautiful gardens of John Clare Cottage

📅 Fridays: 5, 12, 19 & 26 June, and 3 & 10 July

🕤 9.30am–11.30am
👧 Suitable for KS1 & KS2 children
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

John Clare Cottage, located in Helpston near Peterborough, is the historic home of poet and early environmentalist John Clare and is run with the generous support of volunteers. 🌿

We’re currently looking to grow our volunteer team, particularly in the café, and would love to hear from friendly and practical individuals who would enjoy being part of a welcoming community team. 😊

Whether you can offer a few hours occasionally or more regular time, volunteering is a lovely way to meet people, support the Cottage, and help create a warm welcome for visitors.
