Come on people- have some respect!!
The new park did not just appear overnight, lots of time and effort went into getting this for the community.
We appreciate the entrance is very muddy (slabs will be put down in the coming weeks to ensure it is more inclusive) and some mess is par for the course, however- this is deliberate and down right disrespectful 🫠😤

Helmsdale Highland Games are delighted to announce our 2024 Cheiftain David Mackay.

As many of you know David was born and brought up in Helmsdale, attending the local Primary School and Golspie High School,
David has maintained a close connection with the village and School, even taking a small piece of rock from his homeland into space with him.
David is the 1st native born Scotsman to visit space.

JOG Playpark fundraisers has an amazing raffle on the go just now- to be drawn really soon.

Prizes include a horse box! ; a Kingsmill stay; food & meal vouchers…have a look; support if you can and/or pls share.

We know how much a fab’ playpark matters to the kids and community 🙂 🚀

😢 Bad news is the trailer is no where near its price and so the raffle will make a loss, Mark did say we could postpone til next year to make sure we make a profit but my feel is let’s just draw it and move on! But many thanks to him for that option!

👍 The good news is the November and December raffles will have made enough profit to cover the deficit and we might just scrape the £50k in the bank by Christmas!

🎅 So help us out with one last push - it’s going to be drawn on Saturday regardless - it’s £10 a ticket the best sales have come from people tagging and sharing within their own groups, when people trust the person tagging them to know that this a genuine raffle In Conjunction with reputable dealer!!!
