The campaigning is almost over and the polls open at 7am tomorrow morning. I have met many residents during this campaign and have listened carefully to everything that you have said. It has been an honour to have been your Councillor over the past 10 years and hope you will vote for me tomorrow so I can continue to work for the residents of Park Gate and Fareham. Please remember to take your ID when you go to vote.

The polls open is less than 12 hours 🧭 as we finish our campaigning here in Brook Lane.

So pleased to see the work 🚧 going on behind us and hearing the repeated messages of thanks from those who have waited a long time for a safer route to the ▪️hospital 🏥
▪️GP 👩‍⚕️ surgery and
▪️sorting office 📮.

It’s good to see the Zebra crossings 👣 scheme being delivered. ☝️One of OUR most recent successes 💪🏼 . WE promised and WE delivered ✅. And there is more to do on this road to improve safety for pedestrians, not least school children.

Thank you for your patience with the partial road closure, not ideal but we truly hope this Conservative achievement is short term pain for long term gain. We hope to see you on the other side and thank each and every one of you for your support 🙏.

Very sad to report the passing of Cllr Cynthia Garton (pictured, right, with the Hedge End South council team last year). Cynthia was first elected back in 1999 and was incredibly dedicated to the role of representing local people and standing up for Hedge End. Cynthia chaired the Borough's Local Area Committee and was also Mayor of Eastleigh, and will be much missed as she was so respected and loved by Hedge End residents.
