I want to raise awareness of this cruel disease as well as more importantly raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
There is a long history of people suffering with dementia in my family. So having relatives who have been affected or are living with dementia, and with 1 in 79 people in the UK diagnosed and that number set to increase rapidly, it seems even more important to me to help raise funds for the charity.
I’ve decided to start a puzzle library and it seems even more apt to do so as doing jigsaws help people suffering with dementia. All the puzzles in the library have mainly come from charity shops so I’m helping different charities along the way too!
The idea of this puzzle library is people give me a donation for the Alzheimer’s Society in exchange to borrow a jigsaw for up to 2, weeks.
The puzzles come from a clean smoke free home. I ask when a puzzle is borrowed it is borrowed and given back in the same condition ready for the next person to enjoy. Because of Covid puzzles will be left for 72, hours once returned before being loaned out again!
Thank you for taking time to check this page out. Please take a look at the jigsaws available to borrow and if you would like to borrow a jigsaw please send me a direct message.
