From a little idea created at The Veterans Halt to a global act of remembrance.
There are options to take part from the Sleeper Train service on the 10th of November to the first train on the 11th from Penzance.

Poppies to Paddington is back!
This year sees the sixth outing of The Veterans Charity and GWR event in what is a very special year for the railways - Railway200.

It is also the 170th anniversary of military railways - first created in the Crimean War to support the British Army and our allies in the ArmΓ©e de Terre and the Turkish armed forces.
The Grand Crimean Central Railway was engaged in the Siege of Sevastopol who were stationed on a plateau between Balaklava and Sevastopol. It also carried the world's first hospital train.
There are going to be a number of special wreaths including:
Military Railway 170
VE Day 80
VJ Day 80
Starting stations this year include:
Penzance
Hereford
Carmarthen
Paignton
Plymouth
Aschurch (Tewkesbury)
Great Malvern
Taunton
Bristol Temple Meads
With many more in between of course, a minimum of 74 stations, 75 with Paddington Station being the final receiving station.

10th of November - Night Train for those I'm Cornwall returns for its second run.
11th November for the morning trains - all scheduled to arrive before 11am.
