Hawes Library and Community Office

Hawes Library and Community Office Hawes Library & Community Office is a one-stop shop in the heart of our rural community. We are also home to Hawes Post Office and Newcastle Building Society.

Pay your electricity and phone bills, top-up your electricity keys, get photocopies, send faxes. We have FREE WI-FI also. Enquire about bus and train times with our booking desk, and advertise your local event on our free notice boards. A meeting room is available to hire, as is our projector. Within our Hub we also house the Richmondshire District Council Service Desk, Hawes Post Office and Newcastle Building Society.

This includes changes to our customer service centres, libraries, North Yorkshire Archives, and registration offices.

Our markets and household waste recycling centres will be operating as normal.

You can check your bin collection days on our website. Please make sure your waste and recycling is out by 6am.
